Guys,
It is about time to see some pictures, isn't it? How do the 17x9 TDR wheels look on your cars? I got some more in and a lot of guys are asking for pictures especially on 1G.
One of the nice things about the Team Dynamics wheels is that they can be custom made to what ever offset you want. Within reason, of course. So if you want that it can be done. However I believe +35mm wont work right on a 17x9.
At 4in from the center of the wheel we have 1.810 (46mm), at 5in from the center there is2.08 (53mm), 6in has 2.165 (55mm) and at 7in we have 2.240 (57mm) room.
You will need no spacers for any of the TCE kits or any other of-the-shelf big brake kit out there.
Im glad you guys like them as much as I do.
Heres another review made by a guy running an EVO:So, I bought two sets of the 17x9's in matte black and I LOVE them.First off, the fact that they're hubcentric makes them the only choice for track use (I'm dumping a set of Work wheels because they...
What about the EVO FQ400 wheels? They are high gloss black, hub-centric, extremely brakes "friendly" and priced right.

Team Dynamics did not have the wheels as we ordered them in the US or Great Britain for that matter. Not in 67.1mm hub-center and 27mm offset. Thats another reason why I like them and I am willing to wait to get the wheels just like I want them.
TDR is trying to work with racing teams and...
I am told that the container leaves UK tomorrow only. Estimated delivery: 4 weeks starting early next week. I'm pretty disappointed but there's nothing I can do. I want those wheels and so do the rest of the guys so we have to take it as it is.
Too bad we didn't make the decision earlier this...
Sorry for the delay responding to you guys. I cant email you because Engintecs.com was hacked.Anyway I was on the phone with England yesterday and I was told that our wheels were not included in the container that should hit the US this month. Because of their government mandated 2 weeks...
Rich,
The old block is history. It has a nice blue color and sitting in the shop as a reminder of what and how.
Greg was trying to tell everybody that the second engine ran the race before the last one at the same track but in 40 Degrees hotter track yet it was running cool until it popped the...
Mitsu MLS is .053" compressed and it is one of the best out there. Two perfect surfaces clamped together correctly with that should hold better than most of the guys need out there. I wonder when will people realize that they don't need o'rings for their application!
I believe the FelPro MLS...
Greg did some shrouding to force the air to go through both the I/C and radiator and not somewhere else. That would be the Al sheet metal on the lower side that covers the pipe that exits the I/C.
Rich,
Get in touch with Greg and he will give you some details. Check your PM's (Private Messages).
I won't be able to get back on the board for a day or so.
Well, at such a good deal you could buy two sets, use them with different tires and in case something goes wrong...
Or you could do something else too. Since everybody else wanted Anthracite including me you can choose those too. I dont have an engine for my car and there are no signs of...
I made a mistake on the wheels weight because the heaviest these wheels can be is 9.5Kg which is just shy of 20lbs and that is on a 4 lugs configuration and minimum offset.
Going to 5 lugs makes the wheel lighter and obviously going to a higher offset takes additional weight off of it.
So I...
I don't see any K1's being used in any serious road racing competition in Europe.
Everybody needs to understand a few things regarding road racing wheels. They need to be strong enough and light enough to do the job.And they HAVE to accept the biggest brakes possible.Quote from...
They carry lug nuts too but I did not ask about them yet.Just some more info here:
Of the shelf wheels in Pro Race 1 don't have the hub-center sized for a Mitsubishi and they use other lug nuts than the EVO OE like the FQ400 does. The FQ400 wheels are actually the 1.2 in 17x8 and high gloss...

TRANNY cooler seems to be the factory engine oil cooler and that's not what I asked for. What I wanted to know was how manny rows has the ENGINE OIL COOLER, the one that is on the passenger side. Can you see that?
Thanks.
I would still appreciate if you could physically count how many rows the engine oil cooler has. I was trying to do that from the picture but it's impossible.
You might be able to tell if you have the full size picture if nothing else.
Thank you.
Not too many, I'm sure but somebody will if he can and a lot of EVO guys would too.
EVO could use either the 17x8 or the 17x9 Brit wheels and go with the 355mm brake kit from Stoptech. "How cool is that" like a good friend of mine says.
How about if you could fit a 355x32mm or in other words 14" brakes under these wheels? I'm talking about the biggest kit Stoptech makes for an EVO.
What do you think Todd? Are you going to make an even bigger kit for these cars if that's true?
