Ya it is I just rebuilt the motor everything is new except the tensioner.

Does anyone know if u have a bad timing belt tensioner . Would that cause the camshaft pulleys to be off three teeth

Depends on how much money u want to spend. If u do the work yourself maybe a couple grand. Or part it out but you will have time and effort. Or just try to get your money back out of it. I would put it on Craigslist as a parts car. Maybe trade for upgrades for your other car.

No i didn't. Would that cause it to knock. Cause it will stop when i pull the number four injector plug only. if i pull any other one it still knocks.

I have just put a new head on my 1g. And it has a knock that sounds like a lifter knock but only does it at about 2500rpm. But goes away when i unplug number four injector.

Before u take ure head in u should call Cylinder Heads International. 1-800-942-4503. I have the same problem in my 93 talon and a head is $265.00 ship to u. All u have to do is send your head to them after u get the one u buy put on.Comes with valves,springs, rockers and cams.

maybe were u getting fuel to your injectors. and if spark plugs have spark. I would get a new battery. If that doesn't work then check fuel and spark

See if u are getting fuel to your injectors. Maybe fuel pump or fuel filter.
