look into nlts and give it a try. Your shifting under 5k and your shifts are taking a full second. Using nlts mine stay around .25 .3 seconds. You are losing all your boost between shifts. I wouldn't throw the towel in with fwd till you actually learn and get it descent.

Are you using nlts? It makes shifting a lot easier at higher rpms. You need some slicks honestly. Not sure how long the stock trans will last at that power level though. Check how long your shifts are taking and how much your boost drops between gears. What are your other times and mph? 60'...
This was on 30psi, I've been up to 36psi but have been having issues with dropping fuel pressure. I have no complaints on the 2.3. It's been solid and done its job. I have boost by gear but I'm not even using it. For the most part it's only spinning a bit in 1st. What about you any track times?
Just an update I'm guessing I didn't hurt anything. Went to the track after changing fluids and ran a pb. When these cars are built good and maintained they are strong. I've got almost 10k miles on this engine built over 5 years ago and it still runs great. This fwd was hurting some feelings
