Haven't spent as much time on this as I would like to have, but I'm making progress. It's not nearly as terrible as I thought it was going to be. I need to unhook the motor mounts, AC, and tranny still to pull it out.Any tips on the AC? It's fully pressurized obviously and I can't get the...
I had the same problem. I spent two weeks looking for the smallest 90 degree angle drill I could find. If you have to drill it out like I do, your only option is to pull the motor. If the bolts are sticking out a bit you can drill through the side of them or weld something to the tip of it to...
I have the factory service manual on the computer. In the past I have been looking at it and printing what I need. I haven't been able to find any info in the manual about pulling the engine, am I just missing it?Don't even say that, hopefully I don't have ANY left over parts haha! :ohdamn:

I guess it's not as common as I thought? My 2002 eclipse came with plastic clamps on every single hose on the car. They look like the black clamp in the picture below, but plastic not titanium:
Just a though for anyone that looks up this thread in a search:I don't know what clamps our cars come with stock, but my experience has been that plastic clamps loose their holding power in about 40,000 - 50,000 miles and a lot less if you are removing and reinstalling them.I would...
Disclaimer: I spent about 30 minutes searching for a thread that would answer my question before creating this post. I found quite a few threads that cover the issue of these bolts being broken, but not that address them being stuck down in the hole 1/3 of an inch.Make/Model: 1990 Eagle...
