There are 2 vent tubes that are on the neck of the filler on the tank,when you push the hose into the tank it moves a plastic pieceback that covers one of the vent holes and opens the other one.Mine wasnt moving far enough,so I took the last part of the neck off and took the plastic part out...

I have checked everything on it next to taking everything apart,I guess that will be next. I bought it as a drug siezed car and never had a problem untill now,and man does it suck to take 4 or 5 min to put a couple of gallons in.

I have a 98 eclipse and have a problem with filling the gas tank,it shuts off every place I try the nozzle,in out fast slow,anyone had this type of problem,I could sure use some help on this. Thanks Steve:cry:

I have a 98 Eclipse and when I try to fill the tank it keeps shutting off no matter where I have the handle in out slow as possible still kicks off,any one had this type of problem
