update..i conected the comp housing to the wastegate and it ran 9.7 psi. but if the wastegate was bad wouldnt that mean that when i up plugged it, it should have still ran on 9psi if the wastegate spring is weak? when i ran it like that it did 21psi without the wg opening
the thing is the screw is at the same setting it was when i took it off. im using the 16g internal wastegate actuator. but it doesnt make sense that the wastegate is opening up at 9psi. if it only ran that without the wastegate opening then it would be a boost leak. i know the wastegate works...
if you get some tire chalk just mark where to 2 edges of the weights were. then wait for it to dry good (dry it in the sun will help) and put it back on with a little hammer
