Check the starter. If that's fine then make sure you're getting spark and fuel.

You can get lucky and find a nice, stock, reliable one but that's rare. And since you don't have any mechanical experience I would look into a different platform. Go buy a honda, I heard those are nice.

I would just pull the starter and have it tested first. It takes like 5min to pull it..

Message them and send them the serial number off of the back of the chip, your name, and what you want your username/password to be.

I didn't see it was recirculated, stupid phone.I'm guessing since your car runs poorly after 15lbs that it's not properly tuned (no additional chip in your ecu). When you hit 15lbs, does it hit fuel cut or just sputter?

You either need to go speed density, gm maf, or get a recirculating bov because venting into the atmosphere like that isn't helping anything.
