i legit had the same problem with my auto, it had a gear with a stubborn bearing just like yours. i beat it off destroying it, but in the flange (back side) is the part number, 2x new bearings where $20 from ebay

Yes balance shaft delete is beneficial, due to the fact that there’s less rotating mass on the crank, if you’re going to delete the balance shafts, make sure you get the GSC race balance shaft delete kit, as you want the ground down style balance shaft to help support the oil pump gear

i was looking around for the oil pickup tube gasket (MD183240) for my 2g. and i found one from my local AutoZone via a google search, but it said "will not fit your vehicle" it sure did look right. i ordered one and can confirm its the right one.

update today! i connected the tach to pin #58 and on setting 2 it showed half the rpm, on setting 4 it showed the right rpm, so this tach works with our ecu system
