I agree boost leak test but how much boost did it run? Could be there is a low fuel supply due to injectors or fuel pump. Regulator could be failing as well. Also the pcv could be failing and utimitly leaking boost into your valve cover. Last thing i can think of as of right now could be a fuel...

You have a gm maf and slap it on. Then you have the translator and slap it on. There are two plugs for the translator. One plugs into the gm maf and the other into the factory maf plug.
The translator does more then just allowing you to vent to atmosphere...

Just another voice to add. Boost leak test. if ya cant do one asap just tighten al l your charge pipe clamps and check your vacuum lines. 10 min worth of work. if problem persists...boost leak asap regardless if your result is positive or negative.

My advice if you wanna go that route is buy a tubo harness ecu and engine and injectors correct regulator fuel pump ect... Its not difficult but requires patience and its a fun job.

It was a simple fix. I just got a zip tie and used it to dab rtv on the outside of the diapram to the outer edge where the top hat of the valve bolts down on the bottom half.
