Holy crap this thread is as old as the internet....I have tried Yuengling before. Not to bad they actually sell it here in Ohio. I will stick to my old favs though Killians Red and Bud Lite.
Why not just use the stock 5 speed out of another Fiero, they can handle a bunch of power and keep on going, you are better off putting a 3.8 turbo motor or a V8 in it, you will have alot of fabricating to do if you build this with a 4G63. If you stick with a factory trans then all you'll need...
The letter indicate which side of the head they go on I=intake and E=exhaust. The number is the place in which they go in order from the CAS(i believe) to the other side. The arrow points in the direction as to which way it is placed on the head so you don't put in on backwards. I would not use...
Well I have been a licensed SCCA driver for 3 years now, even took the driving school at Mid Ohio. The main problem with rallying in general is that it isn't promoted as well as it could be. I have had a few people ask me about rally x and solo 2, but they never seem to take an interest and...
Are we just talking cars here, after all there was a few motorcycles back in the 80's that would have scared the crap out of ya. i.e. The Kawasaki 750 Turbo R. The only factory produced turbocharged bike from the 80's, also the most dangerous bike made at that point and time. My dad still has...
As stated above a Starion FMIC is not the best route to go. At one time it was a good upgrade, but that was back in the days before we knew better. LOL
Yeah I didn't have cable back then. :DI would have to say that in order for rally of any kind to get on TV you would have to have a independent TV channel that is sponsored by viewers like you, kind of like PBS, but geared more toward automotive person.
I agree whole heartly with you and would love to show my support on this, but the main problem is the NASCAR=MONEY and rally doesn't. Where do you think the advertisers are going to go with, a car that is seen a couple of hundred times a day or one that might be seen once a year or so. That is...
Thanks for that plug Chris. I have been watching rally for years, long before Playstaion and crap like that made it popular. I remember when Colin Mcrae first started in the WRC, he was the rookie that would end all in rally, that was until someone better came along.:D As far as SCCA Pro Rally...
Making Memories of Us by Keith Urban, chicks dig that damn song(this includes my wife) and I can't stand it. If you need the music to it I can sent you a copy of the tab.
Personal preference more than likely, I have never used a set of factory bearings on any motor that I have rebuild, but that is just how I was taught to do things.
Keep in mind that the "import scene" really didn't start coming on until the mid 90's and nobody really messed around with them much then, but now the technology has changed and it is easier to do thing like this in any car, not to mention that a SRT-4 is just going off of what every one esle...
This is right where Mitsu isn't, but then again Subaru isn't really there either and Subaru is also a very small car company, but they have a good following. Mitsu needs a small car that is "cheap to go", hmm.... let's see a good name might be .....................Mirage, has a good ring to it...
Well it's not your CAT, I would go and say it's your fuel delivery(i.e. fuel pressure regulator, injectors stuck open, etc.). Nice exhaust by the way :D loud enough for ya LOL!
Simple a guy purchases the car goes off to war(Vietnam era) gets killed and his family keeps the car in a barn for 30 years and sells it to a passer by he buys the car for $500 cleans it up and sees a chance to make a butt load of money. Although at that price someone will be taking it in the...
It really depends on the amount of boost you are going to run, but mine was 2.5" to the flex section of the DP then 3" all the way back. You want to keep the first 12" or so at 2.5" so the heat will keep the exhaust gases moving fast as they cool they expand henceforth why 3" after the flex...
I started boxing when I was 12 and quit around age 20 with a year of kickboxing around age 18, after that i took up Judo and Akido for about 6 years, now I just lift weights due to my current schedule, I am not a strong man by any means and I stand 6'1", but like stated above look at your...
Outside of the small block chevy and it's three or four generations not to many motors are still designed the same way for more than 25years, I believe the 4g63 was configured in the early 80's(correct me if I am wrong), so with years of design flaws worked out the newer 4g63's can handle around...
If you want to make 500hp, easy just go out and buy a new C6 Corvette and there you go no turbo to mess with no having to call IMMI about his magic turbo powder or anything like that. Trust me when I say if we need to tell you how to build 500hp then you don't need it.
The sensors are probably the CAS and Knock sensors, but they are not turbo motors the diff. between the two is the turbo motors have a lower compression and forged pistons and the non turbo have higher compression cast pistons that won't stand up to being turboed. Not to mention the oil squirts...
As a current WRX owner I like that someone stated this, but then again there are some very quick Mitsu out there and the EVO is a hell of a machine in it's own right. I just hope that the Subaru owners are better suited this time around. Although I will bring the silver platter if any one wishes...
I would own an A4 in a minute, they are very sharp cars, but go with the 1G, they are cheaper and at $15k a year and college you would be better off insurance wise as well.
Because they are designed for both walk up and drive through use, that way they don't have to make multiple casting for them, saves money in the long run. What if CAT really spelled DOG? WTFWhy is it that waffles and pancakes taste different but are made out of the same stuff?
It may just be where they had to make room under the "stock hood scoope" :D . It might also be that it is running 40+psi from each turbo and with that kind of pressure it may need to be equalized, of course it could be that one thing that he knows that nobody else does.
You only need three wires on your car. It is powered by the ECU signal if I remember correctly, I have the diagram around here somewhere if i can find it I will post it for you.

A guy touches my wife in any form other than friendly and he better pray the cops get to him before I do. It is nice to know that some people stand up for others when in need. Sounds to me like the guy is still stuck in the bully part of his life. I will say that it is hard to know how you'll...

The new Z06 vette is going to sell for $68,500, so by the time you factor in tax and all you are looking at $70+k for one, anyway I can tell you what I will be driving because I am driving it now, 2003 Subaru Impreza WRX. Can't say enough about it, handles well, drives nice and has a nice little...
Panizzi is the man that Mitsu needed, granted they took off half of the season last year but they did need more R & D for the cars. I don't see them winning the manufactures title or drivers title but then again suprises lay around every corner in the WRC. Good luck Giles :thumb: .Later, Keith.
The EVO3 engines are almost the same as the US version only the compression is higher 8.7:1 and the injectors are 510cc and the turbo is a bigger version of the big 16g.
