i dont like running it without the thermostat but the damn things are not opening so i have to do it that way. i have tried everything.ok i guess it wouldnt hurt to try burpping it again

im done with trying to fix this overheating problem. i have a brand new water pump(it does not leak at all), fans do work, new engine coolant temp sensor, i flushed out the system also both the rad and the engine, i let the car run with the rad cap off for 30mins till there were no more bubbles...

try the same year and motor but eclipse. thats what happend to me. my coolant sensor was a eclipse sensor

umm i went back to autozone and got a different t-stat and this one seems to be flowing but the fans were still not coming on. im gonna burp the system and see where that gets me.

oh yeah another thing is my fans are not coming on. i took the relay out and jumped the relay with a wire and now they are on all the time. does this mean the relay was bad or something else?

your talking about how to remove the crank sensor on the engine down by the crank right? if so your ganna have to take off your crank pulley and your timing covers, you might have to take off the timing belt but im not sure. there are 2 bolts holding it in place, should be pretty easy to replace.

i did my starter to but i went the hard way i guess, i took the whole intake mani off lol. its wicked easy to get it with the mani off. didnt take me that long to do like 3hours tops.

Well just get a new thermastat and coolant temp sensor they are both like $15 or less at autozone, both are a cheap and easy fix, try that first.
