I may have misdeed some devious suggestions. you said you added a new radiator . The new radiator you installed might be a little thicker than the original and if you are running aftermarket inter cooler the thickness has a lot to do with your cooling . If your block was machined this is...
take the banjo bolt out take it to any part store or the cooper washer or washers have them match them up. inspect the line carefully around the banjo bolt contact area. follow the torque specs.
usually the line does not leak. the bolt that attaches the line has two cooper washers. there might be one cooper washer or both cooper washer missing. or not torque enought.
sure this might be the problem. the reason is the mass air flow tells the ecu the amount of air entering the motor any brake before the intake manifold is trouble.
check the backing plate at the back of the brake rotors. one of them might be bent and rubbing againts one of the brake rotor when you drive. check the side where you replace the tire first. the noise when you push down on the clutch pedal might be coming from your release bearing.
key off. remove you negative battery lug and clean it. clean the ground on the fire wall and the transmission. remove the positive battery cable clean the lug and the battery poal. disconnect the positive battery wiring harness where it connect to the battery lug. clean and re tighten . double...
when checking for vacume leaks you have to use carburetor clean or propane. when the car starts quickly spray around the back of the mass air flow meter to the end of the intake manifold also between the head and the intake manifold. the idle will either rise or subside depend on the category of...
have some one crank the car for you . pull the fuel pressure regulator vacum hose off and checkhave some one crank the motor pull the vacume hose from the fuel pressureregulator and observe whether fuel is leaking from the fuel pressure regulator.
if the engine runs what you want to do is start the engine up let it get to operating tempreture. turn the engine off. remove the spark plugs pour one table spoon of 30 weight oil in each cylinder.crank the engine for about 4b revolutions and conduct another compression test. compare the reading...
check the transmission fluid level. make sure you are on level ground and the transmission is in prk or neutral and engine at operating temperature. check for any transmission code.
things you want to check. there are two switches on the clutch pedal disconnect the lower one. thi is if your car is manual trans. plase the gear lever in neutral and attempt to start the car. if this did not work. chance are the starter relay is defective. the starter relayis above the fuse box...
first check your throttle cable adjustment. when the motor is idling high attempt to adjust the throttle cable. make sure you do not have a positive crankase ventilation leak. you can attempt to spray the throttle body area while the motor is running with carburettor cleaner. if the idle change...
your car came with a 13b from the factory.the 13b is smaller than the 14b and16g series. they will not bolt on to the 14b manifold while on the block because of clearance issue.
get a can of carburetor cleaner or starting fluid, have someone crank the motor over while you lightly spray into the throttle body or any small opening into the air duct or intake manifold. if the engine continue running you have a fuel issue.
