when i got my car it had arc 9.3mm plug wires pretty huge looking but i dont really like them but they are brand new. my question is wont a HUGE plug wire actaully slow the spark down ?

you really need to tune from the sounds of it your really lost if you still wish to mod it i would take it to the shop to get tuned seing how it looks like you might know what you just jumped into
i got a garrett t28 and i love granted mines bigger then the normal t28, still its an amazing turbo and i beat out my friend by a few cars and his car is alot more heavily modded and he has a evoIII 16g imo its worth it price seems fair also
you went into looking for a bigger turbo and didnt get anything to tune it with no mbc not even a wide band or an after market boost guage 3500rpm full boost isnt all that bad i hit at 3k but still i wouldnt complain.

personally would ditch it when you start to heavily mod the car. mine was locked up so i ditched it along with power steering because the pump was leaking lol....and gotta love cruiseing with the windows down anyways lol
i just purchased a turbo setup (30 mins ago) from a friend for 700 it came with a obx manifold t28 garret discoo potato turbo j pipe downpipe a fmic greddy bov and all the hard piping for the intercooler and turbo.with that explained i have not found another dsm running a disco potato...
