I would have to agree. Grab 10 bucks and go to a hardware store. And then build the boost leak tester. It's got to be under $5 most likely but then you can pay a friend for the ride. That little tool with show even pin pricks of a boost leak.IC Pipe Tester
I saw that valve cover post and I've gotta say wow. It must have been fatigued as hell to crumble on you.And today I drove my car hard and realized my TPS plug backed itself out enough the other day to mimic fuel cut. Scared the shiz out of me. But it's all good now. Also found out a local...
Replaced V/C gasket today. Had a minor oil leak in the spark plug bay. Went to fix it and it was literally 10 times worse. This time I didn't over tighten.
Well couldn't explain the lag after my rebuild and so I did a boost leak test and wouldn't ya know it I had a few wholes in my intercooler.Pulled it off, gave it a good cleaning and JB welded the wholes. Throwing it together tomorrow and turning the boost down a bit incase it out performs my...
Should know that RTV is used on jet engines like an F-16. So it's good enough for all our setups. Unless your a dillweed and have the grip of the hulk an make a mess of it all.
I just got some from them. But used my FedEx account for payment and it rang in at $18 and change! For just 4 of them. I got it 2 days later but I would have been ok with a delay.
Holy Bajesus!!! I spit my beer out when I saw that. Made me commit alcohol abuse! Lol and "Blow me" would at least make sense on a turbo model, although be it tacky. but on a N/A it looks ridiculous.
Just fixed my water pump pulley. It was making a terrible squealing noise. Took the time to check it out and I put it on backwards! So after shaming myself I fixed it. Sounds WAY BETTER!
If its a DD then you want to get all the maintenance taken care of like everyone has said . And if the motor is tired from high mileage you may want to check the system for blow by. My old motor would throw oil out the dip stick under full boost. And oil fires can ruin a good day.
It will smoke for a few minutes maybe longer on the first start up. My Forced Performance manifold smoked a good 10 mins on the fist start up. If all bold are tight then let it run and see how it goes.
You can just ground out a wire on one end and tap the other end to the individual contact points for the cig lighter. And the one that sparks is the power one.In case you can't readily get a multimeter.
Should know its going to drive up prices of food soon. And we have been dry here too. Makes me worried because I live in a state park area. And one careless camper could kill us all
Should explain that because I'm from the Adirondack mountains. Only thing I know about San Francisco is a lot of ### people live there and they make rice that's a treat.
Should know I have some Competition Kickers that hit hard enough to make your ears ring after 10 min. And with my set up I don't need no factory sound. Lol
I got them before they were sold and turned into bottom self stuff. They started making decks and I saw a few. I just laughed, and realized they were bought out by a Chinese company. Thinking back now I was 17 maybe 18 when I got them. I'm going on 27 now.
Should know that if you break in a system for a week before putting the nuts to it it usually lasts longer. And RCA is more of a rental company from my experience.
Finished my build and took my car for a drive. Now just some odds and ends to tinker with and to double check my MBC vacuum lines because I'm hitting over 15psi
Should know when I was a punk I street raced but as a family man and nearing my 30's I've moved to the track or the always fun race to the speed limit.
Should know its also due to our middle class dissolving under the poverty level that causes this. Our greatness is diminishing and we are not going to lead the would for much longer with Obama pandering in the White house.
Should know that many manufacturing jobs are moving to America again because China has been screwing us in currency manipulation to bring there middle class to our same standard.
