the civic didnt come with one, and the eclipse is getting a splitter, and exhaust shield since it dumps in front of the passenger side wheel.I made it to the carwash and to the shop...it's getting a harness bar made.
Well, ever since I didnt get my GSX ready in time for Hallett last year I've been getting it ready for this year. The latest round of mods include:- 18x7.5 sokudo 10 rims in gold (see pic)
- 235/40/18 falken azenis RT-615 tires (baddest street tires)
- motegi light lug nuts
- carbontrix...
I never heard him ask and nitrous, i heard him say he was gonna spray. I'd just have fun with it and if you blow an engine, oh well, theres more to be had for cheap.....
I used a 4" driving light and a 3" light with a halo. The halo will be used as my blinkers.I'll post some night pics tommorrow. A step closer to being legal. I'm gonna have wire grill material painted black to follow the contour of the side light so you wont be able to see the light much...
gm maf is less restrictive than the 2g. It can be used to tune, but I would reccomend an afc to help things along or in your case dsmlink. I have mine mounted down stream of the bov(blow thru) and it alows me to vent to atmoshere. I like the set up. In your case I would just set the maft to...
This may be the ultimate in bench tuning, but what would be a good hp guess if 660cc injectors are at 96% @ 20psi? There are some smart guys in here so someone can come up with a #... maybe a hp guess @ 25psi and 880's?if its possible to do a hp range per inector size chart, that would be cool.
Dont feel like getting/painting a 1gb front end, besides the setup looks awesome like it is so Id rather do something different but I want it to be functional as well as look good.
Im no aerodynamic genius so some input will help me with my next project. I recently got a 1Gb carbon-fiber hood so Im having to make my own headlight/grille setup to fit on my 1Ga car. My question is Is it beneficial to allow more or less air into the engine bay? If I bring it in I can vent...
I got the GSX up and running, but it wasnt but a few weeks before I put her down again. This round of mods is almost done and I should be ready for Hallett(road course, track day)! After $2,000+ :jeez: the car now has new bigger front calipers, brembo rotors all around, hawk track pads...
I was really surprised how well its doing. I dont even have a fan and when its full of coolant it doesnt overheat at all. Fan is going on this weekend, and a non-leaky coolant resevoir is too so I dont think heat will be an issue at all. I'm routeing the intake over the transfercase and below...
So my DSM is now my daily driver...scary, huh?? Thought some of you guys would like to see this mods so here it is, and for the haters..... :shhh:takes alittle getting used to hearing the rumble up front...I may be selling some laser cut stainless pieces soon, which may include exit...
so stupid....come do it all and buy me another exhuast system to your "specs" or shut up. If it works great, I wouldnt tell anyone in here anyway, not after all this trash talk. But...my bet still stands for most power off this turbo.and you guys asked for dyno sheets with the log...you got...
I dont agree at all with your" it takes $ to be innovative", thats just retarded. And the constructive criticism is aimed at the wrong person, I've done everything on this car to please myself, especially the exhuast. Nothing on my car is aimed at getting respect on this site. Have you not...
So the manifold arguement has been settled....log=spool and midrange, equal length= top end.and the pipe arguement has been shot down....same amount of bends.and the muffler is starting to make sense to a few of you.7 pages of dogging the system that is dynolessly proving everyone...
[OUOTE]Please post a dyno run, before and after, between that log manifold against even a well ported stocker, or that Turbonetics individual cast manifold, that would be a scientific comparison that would be credible.GeneyEAH, OK. Send me all of the above manifolds, and create a way to...
The manifold was designed not knowing about the exhuast system. therefore the turbo wont fit flipped. In order to make it work we went over the turbo, which happens to be the only way to fit the muffler in there anyway. I'm not selling these mufflers so I dont care about you guys argueing about...
