ok a manual boost controller is pretty much just a valve, so and ebay one will work just fine. And if it was not working properly look into buying a decent one. You dont need to go spend hundreds of dollars on a name brand mbc. they all pretty much work the same.

rewired 190 650's decent front mount and link/flash for a decent tune will get you 300whp, no need to mess with e85. but on the other hand i highly doubt you will want to stop around low 300s so why not go big on injectors and fmic so you have the option for higher boost levels or larger turbo...

back pressure is not going to be a problem. The more free flowing you exhaust is the better. The noise is going to be pretty crazy, i hope you like a loud exhaust tone.

ok 750s may be ok with an safc. but you need an safc or some tunning device to compensate for those injectors. and yes check for boost leaks. How your vacuum looking?

yes you need a way to compensate for the new injectors. at least an safc. BTW 750s are to big for SAFC. you need something like dsmlink.

I would say go ahead and do the trade, like you said you could allways sell the hx-40 if you don't end up using it. You could use that money to buy what ever turbo you were planning on running and some supporting mods.

Dont feel so bad man I spun a bearing 1 week to the day after i bought my GST. It happens to alot of us. Now's the time to rebuild the 7 bolt or just throw in a good 6 bolt. Just dont give up, once the dsm is running good you wont be disappointed.

Thats not a boost leak test. You need to pressurize them engine with a air pump. Build a leak tester and do it again

Sounds like a boost leak to me. Also have you checked for any abnormal shaft play on the turbo?

I just got that intake that was mentioned above. Its worked out good so far, I didn't use the filter that came with it, I just used my Injen filter. Its a pretty tight fit but everything works, and for the price it's a great deal.

Its not smart to turn it up with out any type of logger, it could be safe at 15-16 psi but if your starting to knock you need to turn it down.

change out the brake fluid and bleed the brakes to make sure there is not air in it.
