That last picture you post is the bcs. If you have a manual boost controller or some other form of controlling boost, no its not need. That's the boost controller that's controlled by the ecu. If you unplug it and have no boost controller, you will only get wastegate boost, around 8psi.
You can go on autozones web site and they have all the recall info. I had mine done last year, they did both of mine. Their statement to me was they replace whatever ones are bad. Both of mine were bad.
David, how would you redistill it? Are you boiling the ethanol after collecting it with some kind of diluting or adding it to another batch that's been fermented? Or just taking the almost pure ethanol and just boiling it and collecting the vapors/remains?

I agree with gorilla glue. My driver side mirror is held on with screw and gorilla glue lol. Held up for two years, car washes and a 100 mph pass at the track.
Ok so I watched a video on how to make ethanol, and I was wondering if its kinda the same type and can be made to use on out cars?http://m.youtube.com/#/profile?user=SHTFSurvivalist&v=vkxNu6aSP-w&view=videos
Do a boost leak test. Make sure that you don't have any leaks. IIRC right click on gm3 bar, go to properties and make sure its set for your engine size and altitude.
Use a vacuum. Loosen the spark plug slightly, stick the hose of the vacuum over the hole and it should come out. If you have to get the intake or exhaust valve to open so air will flow through the cylinder wall, and pass the spark plug.

I just read of someone putting a 95 ecu I'm a 98. It's chipped with dsmlink. So he had to click inverted cas. In your situation I think you may have to use a 97-99 cas.
Yeah you probably had the zc motor lol. But the 420a is a Chrysler motor so its a weak link itself lol. I would say go for the forged just to play it safe.
Also socal there is a place in san berdo called southwest motors. They have been around since my pops was a kid. They rebuilt my old 420a motor and did a hella good job and reasonable on price. I'll try and find the number and post it.
I've read multiple post and forums where people are running rich cause they get the 255 and don't bother to switch over to an afpr. Either money or they don't know what they are doing. Better to be safe than sorry. Ask anyone running a 255 and why they switch to an afpr. It over runs the stock...
Personally my cousin had a Honda turbo and the max he got was 8psi. When he went to 10-12 the bottom end was toast. So I would go forged with a lower compression and arp head studs. Better to be safe than sorry.
I'm guessing by his name he's new to dsms. Cut some slack. Have you upgraded your fpr to an afpr? If not that 255 maybe over running the stock afpr and you could be running rich. I was suggest your next upgrade be a tuning device, either apexi afc or dsmlink. Also of you plan on turning up the...
