I've had grey cloth, tan leather, grey leather, and most recently got a 99 with the full black. It is 100 times better than any other interior offered in a DSM.
After literally spending hours reading through this entire thread I can't deny that I am impressed. You sir are quite ambitious to say the least. I applaud you for having the balls to just say "f*** it" and go all in on a project like that.
I won't try and lecture you about how dangerous this...
FMIC should come before upgrading turbo but I personally would not run a sidemount with a 16g. Will it cause your car to blow up? Not at all.
Will it hold you back considerably? Absolutely.
Honestly man, I think you need to figure out exactly what you are looking for. Seems like you are just kind of spit balling, which is fine but when you find out exactly what you are looking to accomplish with said mods or what you are looking to get out of a tire then it will be easier for not...
Like someone mentioned before me the RE760 tires are a great low budget tire. I still run them and they perform very well considering how cheap they were.
^This. When I was shopping around I called quite a few different manufacturers and there is typically a "processing fee" of sorts for having custom rods or pistons and then a bit longer of a wait time. Overall though it wasn't really a big deal price wise.
I was wondering whether or not anyone has run the 15mm spacers with the pressed in studs. I would like to avoid extending my lugs and if the spacers from Motorsport-tech with the pressed in lugs will work then that would be a much easier route to go. Now if it isn't safe then I am not...
Haha I knew that was coming. I'm going to be very cautious and not let my want of his products overwhelm my judgement.I'll post pics of the SRT4 when I get back to my computer.
I did some searching and found a few threads of people asking about wheel spacers and it seems that everyone is directed towards Motorsport-tech. I've seen multiple people recommend those spacers as they are apparently the best ones available for DSMs. Although I have yet to see anyone who...
So hunted for a bit and someone was kind enough to PM me and provide some direction for my search. I know he doesn't have the best reputation on here but Sergio from Carbonetics has a kit that will be coming out in a 3-5 weeks for a 2gb Eclipse. It will consist of a front splitter, side...
^If you go about it properly 300hp for these cars is easy and IMO wouldn't sacrifice reliability. Seems like the majority of people go down the 16g upgrade path and it works quite well. If you are worried about the motor don't be. 300hp on a healthy 4g63 is childs play. What it really comes...
Hey guys, so i've finally gotten to where i'm happy with my DSM in a performance sense. But now i'd like to focus on the aesthetics. I've seen various lips over the years, from the RM lip, the cupra lip, and even the home depot "lip". Well i'd like to get a lip or even a splitter but i've been...
Inline 8? lolI've been looking at the new Audi S3. still a 2.0 4banger with 300hp. Maybe even an S4. I love Audis and want something that is quick as my daily driver
Just look under the rear of the car and you'll see it directly in the middle between the rear tires. Kind of a bulbous shaped thing, i'll see if i can get a pic when i get home
That's what I'm saying. There are millions of women that could all be potential dating material, and there are more and more and more everyday.DSM's however are shrinking in quantity. Much harder to find a clean DSM than a girl worth dating.
Maybe the DSM isn't the one you should be getting rid of then:thumb:Well hopefully everything works out and you find another DSM to find soon. Good luck with the move
For starters you can't really compare a baby turbo like a 16g to the Precision turbo in question. This isn't really a question of performance but rather reliability so with that being said, dyno sheets and time slips aren't really relevant.
I'm sure you have your reasons, but I can't stand seeing this as it is all too common. Why put all that time and effort into something just to part it out?
I think if it was done properly it could look extremely good. This seems to be one of those things that will be almost entirely dictated by the execution alone.I don't know if you have seen the "Evo X front bumper on a 2g" thread but it seems applicable to your question. The Photoshopped...
I personally don't think it would look very good. Perhaps on a 1g which is a bit more angular and visually has less finesse than a 2g.With that being said, do whatever you like. Too often people make decisions based off of others opinions.
Justin while I won't argue with you because you know much more about this than I do but don't you think that writing off the 73 and 76HTA because of one dyno result is a bit quick. I know that on paper and real world results can vary greatly but with that being said those numbers seem incredibly...
I'm sure you're right but even if he wants more the Green XL flows 59lbs/min. If that isn't enough then it seems like the Black would be the next turbo to look at since he wants to stay in a DSM housing
Honestly if you are only looking to make 450ish then why not go with something like an FP Green or Green XL. I think a black would make for a hell of a car but even on straight 93 450 wouldn't be that hard
