That makes sense.Does this kit allow you to tune using the translator? The DSM MAF-T allows you to tune, and if this translator doesn't allow you to tune then you will need to get an AFC or DSMlink or equivalent to tune with.

Where are you saving any money? I see that kit at 439.00 and the MAF-T is 200.00.I would make sure you research it completly before slapping the cash, instead of taking the sales guys word for it.

I see now. However, what would you do about the lines from the rear and front bumber. I am sure the intention of the top molding was to keep the flowing line from front to rear, and you can see that line is lost in the orange 1G.I would like to see what the rear looks like.

It did not make it "worst". The washers were the size of the bolt, and bolted down with some good torque the plate didn't move.

I don't know if I would power wash the motor but there is nothing wrong with using water under the hood as long as you cover the alternator and other exposed electrical components.

The door is not closed all the way. The rust is not causing it to stick out at all.The only rust that looks really bad is the rust on the door. Everything else looks managable, but we'll see. I will have to get it to the body shop after I get it running.Any other comments?

Powder coating is a different way of painting something. The paint blown on and then set in an oven and heated at high temperature until dry. Looks very very nice.

He's right, if you don't know what kind of numbers this built car is capable of, then you really should pass on it. You will be looking for builder to rebuild it after you blow it up in less than 3 months.

Just looking at the pulley won't really give you an indication of it separating. You will have to pull the pulley off and it could quite possibly fall apart in your hand, like mine did.If and when you do pull the pulley off, if you see any indication of it rubbing against your lower timing...

I would stay away from the 3" exhaust. You will have absolutely no low end torque. NONE. 2.5" is cutting it close. I have a 2 1/4" exhaust and a header and I have lost some low end torque.On the upside, I have a real nice top end pull though
