I would get bigger injectors than 550's with a T3/T4. Depending on your boost, you can still easily overrun those 550's. chances are the 550's and 780's are the same price. i have 780's and my injector duty cycle on my B16g on 18psi is about 60%.2. The stock GST injectors won't hold a T3/T4...
I always heard its best to do 1 or 2 60-0's so you can PROPERLY set your pads to the new rotors. And on the break in, all your really "breaking in" are the new bearings. Just drive like normal for the 1st couple one hundred miles before you "beat on it"
Did you break the rod bolt and still put it back together? Or how did it happen? I don't understand how you overtightened one bolt, and knew it, and put it back together and this happened?
Since when are projectors "ricey sh*t?" :ohdamn: When you have HIDs it makes them look twice as good AND have the style :D. I just hate the word "rice" i guess...To OP, Great job, good color. looks really nice. I think it would look good with that body kit and a big aluminum wing ;)
the easiest way to find out if you have bent valves is to turn the motor over by hand WITH THE SPARK PLUGS OUT. It will build NO compression then, so if it gets hard your hitting a valve. Otherwise it will keep turning over smoothly
Oil does not burn black. Oil burns blue, coolant burns white, FUEL burns black. Havent you seen a diesel like a dodge cummins blowing black smoke? Thats all the unburned fuel. And When your running really rich it blows black? Again unburned FUEL
Wheres the factory hook up points on a 2g? I never seen any...Atleast not like the hondas that have a nice factory loop welded under the bumperTo the OP, I think a connecting rod would be a cool idea. Its different in a good way and I like different :thumb:
Well its back to doing this funky idle again. Its really "choppy" Ive replaced my coil pack and cam position sensor, and fixed a leaky injector o ring. Im beginning to think its getting to much fuel for some reason. At idle it willl start to throw out dirty black water like its running pig rich...
So how many more threads should I do? like I said it only goes in 2 threads out of maybe 7I dont think it would be more accurate with it NOT in there. I'd rather watch a steady gauge than a bouncy one
I'm putting my AFPR together and my gauge and vacuum line only go into the regulator about 2 threads and then get tight, (by hand).. So do I gently screw them in tighter with a wrench till it sits flush to the regulator?
If its not that serious, why make a big deal about it?And yes, I would also try the key in the passenger door as that's worked for me on numerous cars :thumb:
I'm not trying the turn anyone away from buying one I was just saying my opinion that's all. There's been plenty of people that have had both ACT and XTD and hated or loved it. Me personally I like Exedy. But between those 2 brands I choose act. I'm not trying to bash..
Well the NGK's have more resistance then the MSD's. That's why I have them. And I found that one of my vacuum lines on my throttle body was missing, since I have the EGR block off plate. I put a new vacuum line on it and it idles fine, (for the most part) it still does it though A LITTLE BIT BUT...
Well I got new wires bc my #4 wire on my old MSD's caught the timing gear bc I dont have a top timing belt cover ATM. Long story short I wrapped the wire with electrical tape and it didnt mis. (i drove it for 2 weeks like that until I got my NGK's) Then the boot on one of my NGK's broke off. It...
Yea I can try that. Also I guess I could try and do a boost leak test. bc when I go to rev it up the 1st couple times say to 3k rpms, it struggles to get there. like its missing. But other than that idk..
Ok, recently on a start up, my car will idle normal for a about 10-15seconds, (i have idle set at 850) and then it'll "seem" to mis-fire but it doesnt throw a code or anything. The idle will jump down to maybe 650 REAL briefly then jump back up to normal like a typical mis. I have pretty much...
WOW... You want to talk about the "immaturity" level of people that think its sad to see a DSM go, yet you say that guy has "girlie" feelings? WTFI get it though... Your one of "THOSE" "F***S" :nono:
Ok I will do that! I really appreciate your help. If it happens again I know what to check for now:thumb:Also on a side not: I really like the carbon fiber on your wing. Is that a true CF wing and you painted the top side or is it stick on or what? It looks great :D
Ok well I just got done messing with my car. what I did before I was going to start checking those sensors was unplug the mpi relay, plug in the new 20a engine fuse, then plug back in the relay. well when I did that the car fired right up! All I did last night was remove the MAS, battery, and...
yesterday I was able to check out the wiring harness itself by the battery tray and up to the MAF. I heard that it's common for the tray to rub threw the wires. I didnt find anything there so I wrapped it all back up tight in electrical tape. I wasn't able to check those sensors out bc I did not...
