I personally wouldn't never take apart a turbo that's under warranty. That's asking for trouble!!Honestly man I think you went about this situation in the wrong way.Michael and Robert are good guys, I'm sure if you went about it in the correct manner they would worked something out with you.
I would recommend you actually you get the 12 AN bung welded on to your pan. I love the way mine came out.Just make sure you get some one that can weld, I had a buddy that thought he knew what he was doing needless to say it leaked on me lol.
I love buying from you guys but shipping still seems little overpriced just for little parts shipped via USPS priority to Alaska. Did those pricing go down?
We need some of your awesome video's to follow, I want to hear how it sounds at idle. I love my kelfords but I've always been a fan of BC's products for our cars.Alex
^^ Very good point about the external dump, I have one as well and never realized that affected my coolant temps as well. One of my biggest issues was proper ducting, I'd highly suggest that if that isn't addressed already.
If you are really bored and want to know a lot, I'd suggest getting the book " How to build max-performance mitsubishi 4g63t engines" by some of the guys at Road/Race Engineering. I learned a lot and their is a wealth of information in it.Alex
I'm running drag 31 17x9 with a 28mm offset but I have extended wheel studs. I have a lot of room between rims and calipers. I'll try to get some pictures for you.
Curious why did you decide to mix synthetic and conventional oil?I personally run Rotella T6 in my Subaru, and once the Tsi gets back on the road it'll have Joe Gibbs BR30 for break in and be ran with T6 after.
I also run a Spec 3 + and absolutely love it. I love the feel of it compared to my buddies ACT 2600 setup. I don't have every many miles on my setup because it's my daily driver by any means lol (always broken haha).
Tom is normally really good about my emails when I always had dumb questions to ask. They are very active on the ecmlink forums, and they are still selling v3 full packages. As far userability I would stick with link unless your goals are for the sky then link maybe a limiting factor.
I'm a totally a newb when it comes to welding so honestly I can't answer that question of what style it is.Here is some more pics from Toxic Fab, I can't get enough of his work.
This build is awesome, I love the car man. That downpipe is amazing! Question for you though, so your running the SB pressure plate with a Exedy disk and ACT flywheel?
