  1. Dropping idle, sputtering, intermittent loss of power, jerking, NO CEL

I had a similar problem when I purchased my first dsm and it had the wrong spark plugs that were too shallow.
  2. jumpy 6 puck clutch. TIPS

I have a 6 puck, I still have issues with it jumping around on me. However I have found it to be smoothest at about 1500 with some feathering. I am not sure if it is the best for the life of the clutch.
  3. Can pistons be removed by just dropping the oil pan, and removing the head?

I say as long as you have an idea of what you are getting into go for it. I have done some "backyard rebuild" type things. From my experiences as long as planned properly the outcome has beed favorable.
  4. bone stock dsm, loud BOV?

You could use a SSQV. They are loud even when recirculated. Along with that a SSQV is a great bov, not exactly my favorite but good bov none the less
  5. Acceleration Issue (stutter/stumble)

  6. cant pull motor out

damn i wish i found this post last night i spent a good 3 or 4 hours trying to figure that same thing out.
  7. i need help in finding out the problem with my 2g

I would say throw out bearing as well.
  8. Engine Removal without Transmission

I have removed 2G fwd and 1G awd without removing trans its not that hard. If you take the mounts off of the trans on the fwd and support it with a jack you can get enough movement to clear the flywheel out of the cv axles. On the awd you have to remove the transfer assembly housing (5 bolts...
  9. Possible oil mixing with antifreeze

Did you have the head milled or anything to make sure you had a good surface? It usually cost about $30-40 to have it done, and its a good way to help ensure a clean seal
  10. Noob question ; will my engine run badly with this setup?

I would run wastegate psi untill you finish fuel and get tuning
  11. DSM best bang for buck?!?!?!

Seriously what else would a DSMer do with a mustang :thumb:
  12. New GSX and lots of problems.

If you keep blowing the 100 amp fuse i would check the wire off of the alternator all the way back to your fuse its not a long wire and it is a simple check. I had the same problem and it turned out my alternator was causing a surge that was blowing them
