1. the n/t trany is not weaker it's just different gear ratios. 2. u can put the gear fluid in threw the speedo hole( the first pic). It should be just a 10mm bolt and then just wiggle out the speedo gear and pour it in threw there till it comes out the oil fill plug on the side of the trany...

if u miss an oil change by 500 miles it's ok...500 miles is really nothing...most manufactures suggest 5,000 mile oil changes so your good on that aspect...but like GRAVEDIGGER and KadieTSi said if u idle for a while and it smokes or goes away as u drive then it's your valve stem seals...if...

here's a lil test that you could do to check if it's misfiring, because thats what it sounds like to me. Grab some wire and a testlight. Take the sparkplug wires off the plugs and run the wire up the boot along side the sparkplug wire. Make sure u have a small piece sticking out the top, an inch...

hey if u can see if you could post any pix of the damage...here's how mine turned out:

leaving the balance shaft in with out the belt does nothing...won't hurt the engine and u may feel a lil bit a more ponies coming out of your engine...I did when mine snapped...luckly for me it didn't get caught up in the main timing belt!!!

well since u really F'ed it up put some serous heat to it to get it out then replace the axle. Make sure u get it as red as u can without melting it and hammer the hell out of it. If it's messed up that bad go to town on it!!

i'v been threw this myself...what you need is trany code 5M22 which is the FWD NON-Turbo trany but!!! the F5M33 which is the FWD TURBO, would work but you will need the flywheel and clutch setup i'm not sure but you may also need the axles. The 5M22 is hard to find and they are out there but...

have you tried some fresh new gas?...you may have some water in there...just a small thought it may be that simple!

Hey EagleTalon24 by any chance was you car bought used and do you know if it may have been in a small fenderbender....if it was that may be the cause of the difference for the camber on the two sides the frame may be a lil tweaked...get the body checked out on a frame machine. I hit a curb not...
