Yep, 3 bolts that hold it in. Two from the engine bay , and a nut above the pedal. Then the little 'U' bracket on top of the clutch pedal and out it comes!Atleast that is what I remember...

So even if the cooling system is on the other side of the head, that part should fit? Ive looked at the engine bays online and the radiator hoes and thermostat housing seem to be in different locations.

Well you would figure that if it was injectors; it would be a constant sound. Not this 1800rpm shit... Also, the sounds appears to be coming from behind the engine rather than on the top near the manifold. Could this be bs bearings?

Yes and, block went to machine shop along with head, got hottanked, honed, bored to 20 over, and cryotreated. No way theres a crack in that bad boy right now :P

Could be crankwalk :) Pushing the clutch in places pressure on the thrust bearings; its what happened to my friends eclipse. BEFORE I get flamed for this post, there are other options besides cw; explore those first.

Hey all I have a 2.4 4g64 spyder that is having some issues. I just rebuilt the entire engine after spinning a rod bearing and now I have more issues.There is a noise coming from somewhere in the engine. It does not sound like a rod knock, rod pin knock, it pretty much sounds like it is not...

Whoever recommended Andys.... Jeez. Dump 500$ into your engine or save it for when you car breaks. ### you know it will ;). Drive a beater, make it a sleeper; please though, dont ruin another eclipse.

What I meant by perfect exterior was that the body is in next to perfect condtion, no dents cracks fading etc. It looks like it just got washed too only to open the hood and not even spray it down lol! Not even our 13 year old DSM's have bays THAT bad haha.Btw, i hate those rims too :P
