    I agree with the exhaust leak, did you use new gaskets. is the smell of gas/exhaust more prevelant in the engine bay while the noise is present?

    do you know that its running lean? are you running a wideband? the exhaust leak could throw off the O2 sensor. well with 750cc injectors i dont see how your running lean at idle unless you messed something up with your SAFC, on the other hand that 190 walbro wont cut it for those injectors...
