The engine is drinking oil like an alcoholic and shacks really, really bad. He thinks its the valves but not sure.I told him to rebuild but he wants cheap even if it means more work.He knows its not the bottom end becuase he got new pistons and rings for it and it didnt change a thing.

ok so i bought the fuel pressure tester at auto zone today and hooked it up and some how its reading 45psi. i know i should be getting around 26psi since my car is turbo. what is going on??? oh and when i turn the AC on the car just dies.

have you checked your timing? i had my tsi blow off its piping and then it would start for about 10 seconds and then shut off on me. turned out timing was way off but didnt tear the belt. hope this helps.

yes it did start for about 30 seconds and died. im still not getting any error codes. so i guess ill have to check the compression.

ok using MMCd i logged the TPS and it reads 2% when im not pushing the gas and reads 61% when i floor the gas, now thats with the ingnition on but not running. and it also reads 53Hz

steve your right. i just got my data logger kit today in the mail and im getting idle switch, power steering and TDC sensor from Pocketlogger dsm. so my IPS is bad. would that cause my car from running? and what is TDc Sensor?

ok i found a blone 30A fuse in the fuse box near the passenger strut tower and it says it goes to H/lamp door and Volet phars

so far nothing on this car makes sense in my opinion.
