    Yes you still will need to have a 1g cam sensor and harness with a 7bolt head..unless you have your 7-bolt oil pump modded to fit a 6-bolt block so you can use the stock crank sensor.

    Crank walk is over-rated...mostly due to heave pressure plates, clutch not adjusted properly and people who dont know how to drive a stick shift by riding the clutch.

    Thermostats have nothing to do with fans turning on lol...specially on a 2g its controlled by the ecu through the temp sensor. On a 1g there's a temp swich on the radiator.

  13. How to wire fans to go on at lower temp?

    Get the relay harness from spal..it also comes with a temp sensor you can add to your current setup to come on and off at different temps. Very easy to install. I just added a spal 13 1710 cfm fan to my car and there harness works great.

    Buy a new one there only 40 bucks from jnz tuning or dsm grave yard don't wast your time with a used one there usually very brittle and if a piece brakes off you will be doing your head again.

    Do a leak down test and compression test that will tell you if you need new rings....You could just have a bad valve stem seal causing smoke as well.

    Bov's on autos are not going to matter as much, it only blows off when you let of the throttle. like others have said get a 1g bov and you will be fine.

    Coolant temp sensor has nothing to do with your problem...so dont wast your money on one. Pull your thermostat put it in boiling water make sure it opens and closes. If it doesn't that could be your problem. If it does then you might have issues somewhere else. A blown head gasket doesn't always...

    No you dont need a lift, Ipt Import Performance Transmissions: Remanufactured transmissions for Audi, BMW, Toyota, Nissan, Mercedes, Acura, Lexus and more has everything to build your automatic. And on vfaq there's a diy on how to do your shift kit and end clutches.

    If the body is good, I stay stick with it and rock the Auto trans, theres alot of options for auto's, replace your end-clutches, install a shift kit, and you will be able to handle a good amount of power.

    if you never took the bearing out how do you know that it is fine. I just did a clutch job that had the same issue and it was seized on the shaft, and the clip was broken causing the same symptoms your car is having.

    Pull trans, replace with a new clutch release bearing, and make sure the realease bearing clip is properly holding the fork to the bearing.

    How much was the kit that your bought because cx sells 2 kits and something they ship the piping for the better kit on accident, your piping look like its the upgraded pipe set.

    Check your pulse generators, when I installed my setup i pinched a wire and that caused me to go in to limp mode.

    A 2g Talon Esi is going to be a 420a motor so it would take deep pockets and alot of fab to make it work with a 4g63 not to mention making it awd

    Check your compressor fins usually when they get bent or chewed up they make a whine noise like a supercharger.

    I got mine for 1500 it had 3 passes on the motor before he totaled it. 2.4 G6CS Eagle rods, Wiesco Pistons, ARP mains, and head studs, fp2 cams, 3g lifters, port and polished head and a fluid dampner crank pulley.

    No I got lucky and found already completely built...but its no different then building any other 6-bolt. all you use is the block and crank, everything else from your current setup will swap over. As far as engine internals you can use the crank and rods, but you have to use aftermarket turbo...

    Depends on what your goals are a 2.4 will spool larger turbos better.

    You dont need high rev's the 2.4 motor i have now was in a rear wheel colt and made 480+hp before at around 7500 rpm and ran a low 10 sec pass on stock valve train and fp2 cams
