I was thinking about doing my interior using plastidip for the matte look. Do you guys think is a good idea or should I use SEM paint? I just want the interiors to look matte close to stock black interiors.
If you really want a spoiler, go with the high rise. No spoiler looks better on a DSM as the high rise does. On the other hand, if you want a really clean look go wingless. Mine is going wingless when is finished getting painted this week. Ill post pictures after is finished.
I have this JL stealth box right now with a kicker comp. 10 and its awesome. Sorry for not posting pictures about my setup, my car is getting painted as we speak. When I get it back I will post pictures.
Check the switches in you dash. That plug looks really similar to the ones that connect to the cruse control button or the power mirros. Im sorry I cant be of much help, since my car is getting painted and I check myself. But good luck anyways. If my car is finished this week, I will check it...
Run away from that lunatic, you have bent valves and thats it. If you can do the work, go ahead, if not and you have the money, have a real shop do it and dont let that crazy bastard near your car again.
Im a watch freak (32 watches and counting) and that watch is really awesome. Its original and unique, and something I have not seen anywhere. If he is into DSM's he gonna love it.
Those plugs coming from the center of the car are for the back-up lights. Just plug them in and see if they turn on. If they dont, then check your fuses and bulbs. If that doesnt work, then its most likely that the reverse switch is bad.
To the op, just wrap the headers when they turn brown. I have ebay headers and the look like crap after a year. Im planing on wrapping them to hide their ugliness. Other than that, most of what u want from ebay, its going to work.
Just replace all 4 motor mounts if u can. The same thing happened to my car and it vibrated like hell and i replaced the motor mounts and now is really smooth. I also recommend if you have the money, buy polyurethane motor mounts or have someone do them for you. Believe me it's a world of...
+1 on the crank sensor. Does the CEL turn on for a second when the car shuts off, get it scanned first and check if you have an oil leak, maybe the sensor is dirty because of this.
Just rebuild your engine so it can take the turbo. Stock internals are only good for 8psi max if your 420a is really well maintained. But like everyone says, for the money you are going to invest in that project, your better off buying a GST or GSX.
If you have a daily driver already, get the GSX. I have the GS and have beat the crap out of it. Its a good reliable car as a DD but if you want to go fast, do yourself a favor and buy the GSX.
Its a good place to start. Stock internals can't take more than 8psi anyways and that is if your engine is in really good condition. I would recommend you to rebuild the engine and getting a bigger turbo.
