ok this is my second dsm build and i need some help ,my first build was a stock 20g galnt vr4 got her into the 11's now im back for round 2 with my 1g auto dsm ....ok my question is would there be any benifites of staying 2.0 over 2.3 with a drag car?im using a pte 6768 turbo!

lucus i have a 91 auto talon im building over the winter ,my goal for the car is low ten's high nine's,i wanted to build a 2.3 motor like yourself so i would not have to us spray to get on the stall ,do you think a 2.0 with a pte 6262 would work without nitrious to stall up?
just picked up a 91 red tsi awd for $1400 its in great condition and it has a sweet sound system and a flip out tv radio!all the radio system will be ripped out and sold lol
im doing a setup similar to your setup only difference is ill be using a bw372r,manley rods and its going to be auto ...im hoping to get 800awhp .....great car man i wanna see your track times
well it is little compared to the op's turbo ...what is he running a 72 or 74 mm :confused:and what power ,and stuff did your 2g put down any rundown on the setup :confused:

i didnt know there were no hd 1400 pistons for stroker motors from what ive been told the only difference from the hd and regular wiscos are bigger wrist pins.....i also have a gvr4 lmao 1033/2000

750+on race gasi know 2.3 will make more torque but wont be able to rev as high,either way the motor will have wisco 1400hd pistons and manley rodsjust want...
So u took out the 2.3 and put in a 2.0 and your going faster?why is it that all the fast guys run 2.0s?what turbo and how much awhp were u making that pass?
