yeah they were on a 95 gs and worked fine. I did notice there's like a lip on my hub that collides with a lip on the wheel and so it doesn't seat all the way to the hub but that wouldn't cause all this crap would it..? and is a 95 gs and a 97 gs hub THAT different?

my 97 did this a while back and I tried a billion things before I finally took it in and had it looked at and it ended up that it was a wiring issue and needed a new ecu. You might be able to go get like a junk yard ecu and try that and solve your issue. Hope this helps. If not, good luck...
