I have a bad oil leak, my timing belt has oil all over it, Ive replaced the crankshaft seal and oil pump seal where else can this leak be coming from please help.

yeah that idle problem ended up that my car was off timing, and it jumped like 4 tooth. but i fixed it already, took it to a machine shop, my valve seats were bad so they did that, and i replaced all gaskets and belts. now my car runs better than ever:)

Yes the timing belt cover, so how hard is it to replace the oil pump?

i noticed by the plastic cover thing, there is fresh oil leaking??but thanks guys, ill have someone help me do all that.

he did the timing at 102,000.i just see some oil on the cover.but i went ahead and bought it for 2,700.Ill probably just replace it.

Just looked at a 98 gst, 110,000 miles, all stock.Problem is, that it has a small oil pump leak. I know nothing about these cars.But is that an easy fix? The guy said it could mess up my timing down the road??Please let me know, The car runs fine but i am just concerned about that...

I don't care for any hp gains, i just like the look of a car with it on. But yeah I didn't buy it, the tip was 5 inches! That was just too much. So i went ahead and bought an n1 style muffler and just gonna go the the muffler shop and have them weld it but make it so its angled.

Im jus worried how the $80 exhaust will look, i dont want the tip to look straight out. But hey its only 80 bucks, if im not happy with it i can always resell

Cops here don't really enforce that, as long as its long LOUD. How much do you guys think it'll cost me to just buy a muffler and go to a muffler shop and have them do 2.5 piping?

Well i havent bought the car yet. So i cant do any of those.If u look at the pictures closely, there are vacuum lines i think, that are connected to anything. and look at the turbo, isnt there a hose supposed to go there?

My oil is good. They say i have air in the system and needa flush it so im thinking of doin that and see what happens.

Well it just boils from the reservoir tank. And my temp is normal. Never goes up.

Good info.I came across another problem idk anythin about.I was driving for about an hour going around 70mph.Well well i parked it something was bubbling under the hood so i checked and it was my resovoir tank. Fluids in it were boiling and stuff. So what the explanation for that?

Yes. For now i cut a piece off some of the hose where the hole was at. And luckily it was long enough so i jus used same hose until i get a new one.Test drove it, drove like 30 miles and didnt leak or overheat:D

Found the problem.i have a pin size hole on one of my hoses located behind my engine just behind my intake manifold. So im guessing no biggie:DShould i still test if theres exhaust fumes??? or am i good?
