Make sure you smooth out the edges of those dings. If you have any sharp edges they will get super hot under combustion and could cause hot spots or even detonation. Just make sure everything is smooth and you wont have any problems, its not enough of a chip to change the weight or compression...
I did A boost turbo leak test on my 2g starting from the turbo inlet. I found pressure coming from my oil cap, so I pulled the oil dump tube and applied air again, just to find air rushing out of the oil dump tube. Are my seals shot? time for a rebuild? if so where should I buy a quality rebuild...
Wtf is wrong with people!!!!!! What could a poor little bout have done to be treated like that! I wish you would not have posted that. If something like that EVER happened to my son I would have seriously let my 45 loose right then and there.
Dude.. $500 that's a no brainer, buy it and get it home and figure out what problems it has. If it cost to much for you to fix, part it out and make double your money back. Win, win.
No my exhausts is not super loud, I have two resonators for sound on there. and it is kind of conservative looking, I won't be driving like a jack ass, and my registration is good till oct. So I figured I could get away with it for a while, but I was just curious how aggressive the chp is down...
Im moving down to socal for upwords of a year. I will be bringing my mildly modded GSX with me. The car is regestered in WA so do I need to worry about the smog laws, I mean I have a WA regestration and a WA drivers license. My car has a cat back exhause, Dejon intake, aem adjustable cam gears...
Bingo. That is it, of you know of someone partying out a cat and you can get the part for like 5 or 10 bucks, I say get the used one, though new is better, I doubt your luck if that bad to where you buy a faulty part, and if it is bad your only out 10 bucks.
No the fuel pressure solenoid is not the same thing as the pressure regulator. people in here are mistaking your solenoid for your regulator. If you look at the driverside end of your fuel rail you will see the pressure regulator, witch is exactly what is in the picture posted above. Now if you...
I agree with every one above the more gauges the better. I don't know how deep your pockets are but I'm running Blitz DC2 gauges, there real nice because most of their gauges have dual monitoring, so for example my pressure gauge reads oil and fuel pressure, my egt is both egt and rpm, they are...
We call it MOvember here also, there is a radio show out here called"the mens room" and every year they promote MOvember to create awareness for prostate cancer or something, its actually a world wide MOvement:rocks: I think it started in australia.
Not my type of music at all, and honestly ts not the best, but I have heard worse, it does seem a little generic, do something that makes you different than the other 1,000,000 people making music for them selves,
I dont think Lando actually forwarded anything people, drop it, I think it was just his sick sence of humor, I can dig it.
OP why, oh why would you think it was a good idea to floor it past a cop? Every time I have been pulled over for tags I have just recived a warning. That is most likely...
Im sorry I said I had a apexi, lol typo I ment 'Injun" any way what are your goals with this exhaust? sound wise, you want a deep drone or a quite tone, or you want a high pitched tone? my miffler is mild and I like it that way, if I were you I would start doing some resurch on the different...
You only want to eleminate back pressure if your running a turbo, you want some back pressure on N/A applications, a 3" might hurt performance untill you get your turbo. at least thats what i have always been told.
Honestly if I were you I would get no bigger than a 2 1/2"cat back, and as far as what brand goes I have a apexi can on mine and its got a nice mild tone to it. just buy the can you want and have a exhaust shop custom make the rest.
I just convinced my girlfriend that I suspected my car was running lean so I had to drop $200 on a wideband to be sure:thumb:, so I found one in the classifieds for $125 and had $75 to play around with. But she's cool, she likes helping me wrench on my car sometimes. Also she thinks guys that...
Iv had this problem twice with my car and each time it was something different, the first time it was my plugs, witch looked fine and were gapped properly, the second time it was my battery terminals.
I would start calling all the local machine shops in your area to see if they carry it, that's what I did and I found some locally, you won't find it at chain shops like orielys, autozone, napa, car quest, exe
