Any shaft play? that stock boost gauge doesn't read "boost".If your running synthetic oil it tends to burn white sometimes. My GSX turbo was blown and doing this,replaced,swapped it out and no more smoke.

I had a combination of 3 things causing my problem, a very high and erratic idle caused by my timing being off a bit,a dead IAC motor, and apparently my turbo had its seals blown ( hardly any shaft play) which was really throwing me off. Its cheap insurance really..... and as some people have noted not ALL pins are ricey (come on guys =/) they make some real nice ones.You could get them in a flat black so it wont stand out as much if your really worried

update: Removed the radiator and crashed items that were no good anymore.also rewired and fixed the ripped wiring harness.The motor mount brackets is snapped in half,and springs need to get replaced it was on some ebay coilovers :ohdamn:I gave em 900 for it and am pretty confident in regaining...

The damage that I could make out was towards the bottom right where the crashbeam was. It would need a new radiator support which I have no problem welding on and little bs parts. But my concern is that area on the bottom right and seeing it pushed in… I was thinking of hooking a tow or chain...

I would have to say from experience to either paint the whole entire car a single color or attempt to paint the bay black.My spyder just got painted charcoal gray and I also skipped on the engine bay painting and it looks :barf:....I dont think I'v yet to show anyone my engine bay yet :nono: lol...

hmmm I do have a gasket for vc around the shed somewhere.... I dont know if you can tell from the pics but the areas are really dark from the oil compared to the rest of the mnaifold which is a rusty orange/red color and the area with oil is more of a brown....maybe im just overthinkin this....lol
