Most of the bugs worked out had to make my own oil filter housing gasket to stop a bad oil leak , she's getting parked today till next season and plan on taking her to gimli drag way to see what numbers i get .

Took about a week to drop the motor in mostly 4 hr days

Deleted a/c ,fixed leaks ,drained old fuel
45 litres of it ,

Had one day to drive on concrete then the snow came !! Can't keep her on the road just spins for days LOL

Buddy in a right hand drive Subaru gave her a pull next to me after I got on the throttle abit for the first time, He Got pulled over!.
I then got to my destination and on the way back i got pulled over for inspection by the Vehicle inspection unit (viu) no tickets I even corrected the officer on the percentage of tint that's legal LOL

Hope to post a time slip next spring !

BACK STORY :

Had this car since high school (2012) slowly replaced almost everything on it.
To much to write down on here but I kept track of everything almost 2 pages with date and km written down , name the part it's been inspected or replaced .

Maintenance is key on these cars only ever had one tow truck take me away when my timing belt pre maturely self destructed .After Daily driving it for 4.5 years and putting over 120,000 km on her , chassis has over 325,000 km on it .

Drove enough to break in the new motor atleast so next season will be awesome

Been making alot of gaskets lately! I could not find a oil housing gasket so I made one to fix my leak! Gotta make another one once I get oil cooler lines!
Got it all nice and cleaned up and have zero leaks !

Did it without taking the timing cover off!
IT was a pain to do but easily do able! You Just have to remove as many timing cover bolts as possible and use tiny sockets and ratchets.

This is something most in the USA community don't understand that we have to do up here to keep the tires rolling..
"Find a better shell" just isn't an option and we're absolutely insane to boot.
Exactly haha , I enjoyed it but was alot of late-night after work days to Finnish it, por-15 ,and 3m seamsealer used , dissolved rust with acid . Cut out as much as I could and made my own patches, all mig welded . I'd love to actually post all this with the steps I took , things I'd do differently etc
