Hey guys just got my car back from the shop, if I were to drive it goes pretty straight but once it starts to make power it just wants to pull kinda hard to the right any ideas?

FWD will have torque steer. Is it FWD or AWD?

1g's have a lot of camber in the rear (front too), look at your car when it sits on a flat surface. Does it just need a 4 wheel alignment? My 2 AWD cars are FAST and they don't pull to the side, they pull to the rear as in massive acceleration, LOL. It might just need the alignment. Mine do the "1g shuffle" under HARD acceleration, but its because it is trying to find traction, but can't.

Lol, yea I might do mine again, as far as I can remember everything was in the green except for camber, -1.5 in the front and -3.5 in the rear, I do plan on squaring up the rear

Thanks guys I’ll check for these things once I have the chance to do so, how would I check the active toe being worn? I do plan on doing the toe elimantornat some point also.

They are old cars, so check everything for play or wear. Mine surprised me on how much needed replaced just because of age. We all work on the front so much, sometimes the back gets neglected, not purposely, but because we all are focused up front so much.

The major issues with a pull during acceleration is toe changes and caster changes. Really check over your lower control arms.

It has a special front sub frame with custom arms and all, so would that would suck, I’ve had the front end shook down only has very minor 12 and 6 play which I would assume is a hub?

Possibly a bad cv shaft, Ive had it happen to me.

It’s possible but I think both front shafts have already been replaced

Itd be my guess that there may be some flex in the subframe then.

I ended up bringing up back to the shop so he can put back the interior and he looked at that cause he was interested, he ended up adjusting the caster on one side cause he thought it might of been made a bit off and for it closer, and it pulls a lot straighter, hope that helps anyone else that’s had the same issue
