I've been playing around with logos lately. All stainless so far. I did my logo and also a friend's logo for her photography business. There's certainly a learning curve with this (I'm not an artsy guy at all, LOL). Looking forward to getting better with it as I do more of these down the road.

Man, I wish I had a nice tig and half the skill of you guys.

At the risk of heavy criticism, here's my most recent welding. Doing a project with my 87 Toyota pickup, putting a Ford 4.6 in it (let the laughing commence), and didn't want an auto trans. So I made a bellhousing from a hacked up 4r75 and a 1/2" plate of 6061, to mate it to an r150f 5 speed. Later may do an r154 4x4 conversion as well.

Welds were done with a Lincoln 210 magnumpro spool gun.

This is the first time I've used a spool gun, practiced for about 15 min, then went for it. I know there's a lot of improvement to be had, but I was happy with the turnout given my limited time with the gun.

Addendum: finished it up, plasma cutter was being finicky so I spent more time with the die-grinder and a carbide aluminum flute than I cared to. But it'll hardly ever be seen and it will work.

Didn't know what to do with his arms, so they only come halfway down, been to busy with work orders lately to do anything else with him so he just sits on a breaker box behind me for now.

Jon Beach Racing kept breaking Allstar pit sockets. So I recently gutted this last broken one and noticed they were using thin wall mild steel and they always break right on the HAZ. So, I rebuilt this one using heavy wall 4130. Turned out pretty nice and I'm sure this one will hold up to the abuse.

Drool, man that's freaking pretty. I want one of your manifolds, but I'd just end up ruining it with the weather around here!

Geezus you could probably weld a dick on snowman.

Yeah, I got to spend a lot of time under that car. Lol

TBH, not exactly sure on the details about it. I just know it's completely legal and a very beautiful rare car for sure. ;-)

Thanks man

Based on the fact you said its going to shows, I'd say the might have imported under the show and display clause. You can only drive them a certain mileage each year as they are primarily supposed to be for car shows / display models.

Couple other ways to get them in and legal. Only other one I know that can be easily done is to get a US service member to buy the car and import it when returning from an overseas duty station. But they are only allowed to import 1 car upon returning from overseas duty.

^Good info, also i'm sure there are other ways like knowing people or having enough money to pay them off...

Btw, weren't you the guy that got banned from the local forum (sedsm) years back for ripping someone off for like $80 if I remember correctly?

^Are all three of those bungs for o2 sensors? I put two in the downpipe I made because I wanted to keep the factory o2 sensor, but I offset them so the second one wasn't sitting in the drag behind the first one. Don't know if that makes a difference but it made sense in my little brain.

That particular one was for an audi A4, he wanted to run 3 in a row like that upon request.
