2G Is this the correct set screw (plug) for the head?

No, that is the turbo oil feed from the head. It uses a banjo bolt and a crush washer to seal the oil line from the head to the oil inlet on the turbo. Some of us plug that hole and feed the turbo from the oil filter housing.
Here is a fresh 2g head without the oil feed line hole with a red plug in it to keep dirt out.

If you need to plug it, this is what we use.

I use that exact product and it has the correct threads and comes with the sealing crush washer, so glad to help out!
If you had tried to put that other plug in, it would have turned out bad.
The product that you first looked at fits our oil filter housings that might have an extra port needing plugged, just so you know. :thumb:

Thanks for the help. I need to install the head, camshafts, and set timing on it.

Would you mind answer one more question for me while I have your attention? When installing the lash adjusters you want to bleed all of the oil OUT of them, then once the camshafts are on you can spin oil pump sprocket to pump up the lash adjusters. Then install the belt and set timing. Correct?

Most definately BLEED the lash adjusters. I soak them in oil then bleed out all of it. Install them, rockers and then cams with assembly lube. You can bend valves so easy if you don't bleed them. I don't prime mine, its always assembled with assembly lube everywhere. The HLA's will fill up on start up
Not all do it this way, it's just the way I do it and I will do the same thing in a week or two on my motor.
