Hello I am posting this to help you dsmers out if your clutch is having problems bleeding. So I bled my clutch at the slave and adjusted my master cylinder rod and the pedal worked perfectly. One day Later the clutch pedal was sticking to the floor. Upon further diagnosis I realized that the rubber hose that goes from the master cylinder reservoir to the actual clutch master cylinder itself had a kink inside of it. So thats like when you bend a garden hose and water flow is cut off. Now in my case this happened over time because the previous owner did not bolt down the power steering line bracket right below my clutch master cylinder reservoir causing it to hit the rubber hose and make that kink. To fix this I re bolted the lines down and am going to buy a new hose from mitsubishi it only costs 19.00$ plus shipping. I HIGHLY recommend you do this before replacing your slave or clutch master cyl. unless you know those are bad.

I found this problem with my 1998 eclipse gst. I knew it was not my master cylinder because there was no leak by my clutch pedal and I know my slave cylinder was still good because I just bled the clutch 2 nights before this happened and my pedal was working perfectly. Needless to say I already ordered the new hose from mitsubishi they say its gonna take 1-3 months to get it but at least the issue is getting fixed. Moral of the story protect this line and do not let your power steering lines hit it because you forgot to bolt the bracket down. I attached pictures with a zip tie around the kinked area. I know it looks okay in the photo but when installed in the car the line will produce a nasty kink.
