Alright so I been looking into "decapping" injectors and so far everyone I seen do this hit almost 3x more improvement, has anyone else done this on stock 420A injectors? and what are stock injectors for 420A? every where I see yellow tops are evo 510cc? is that what I have in my car??? there for sure not tan like they should be there for sure yellow tops with 4 holes in them, now other then decapping what other injectors can I plug and play with a 420A application ? I'm running stock injectors on stock ecu hitting roughly 11 lbs of boost no problem internals are built and turbo size is 70mm cold 60 mm hot side gt36 I believe, on the fuel aspect of this like I said I'm running yellow top injectors with a circulating fuel rail on a FPR and a 255 walbro pump,

what injector size do I have ?
what others can I use plug and play to upgrade ?
is decapping worth it ?

I'm trying to steer away from using my AEM cuz I want to do a mega squirt in the future and havnt been tuned for bout 600 miles or more now no issues

don't do it, change injector dead times and other characteristics of the injector that you won't know, that are needed to tune the car properly.

stock 420a injectors are 230cc. they have gray tops.
mitsubishi part# M04669011
chrysler 4669011
bosch 0 280 150 965

the top color doesn't mean much. most of the yellow tops i have are 19# off fords. I have also seen 80# injectors with yellow tops. whats the part number on yours.

how are you compensating for the extra fuel needed with a stock ecu

You better get your fuel system under control or that motor won't last long. Do you have a wideband? What AFRs are you running under boost? Stock injectors will not supply enough fuel for that much boost on that turbo. Back on the day we would run a FMU that would Jack up the fuel pressure to force the stock injectors to flow more. That worked OK but fuel pressures were over 100psi

So that's the color they mean I thought it as the tip that goes into the head its self now I see what color they mean

Yes I have a wide band
Under boost I got it to be at 12.6 or high 11s
And right now I have my fpr set at 55psi with the stock injectors and a 255 wally

My motors been able to handle the boost just fine even for 100 mile straight aways with only like 4 lights

Hasn't been tuned for about 2 years now but I also do matance it every day just about

Honestly I blew my turbo before I had any damage to the engine ROFLooooo

But any ways what other injectors can I use ??

Any 4g63 injectors will work. Controlling them will be the hard part. You really need to have MS in so you can tune the car properly. Just throwing in some large injectors will not go over well with the stock ecu

#32 injectors are ? Or are they in the form ? And yes I am still running the fic6 just not as of right now. I been running with out controlling the fuel from lean and rich by using the fpr been keeping it at 12.6 under boost and 14.5 under idle, I haven't found a trust worthy person around central fl to tune my fic

max adjustment on the stock ecu is 25% long term, 25% short term. (350cc or 33.33# injectors)
the ecu will start throwing codes when it pulls 25% LT fuel and 7%(or higher) ST fuel.

you should aim for 11.5 A/F with boost

I was always told 12.5 and that was a pain to get but I can get 11.5 easy that's where it use to always wanna sit after warm

So where can I get these injectors what car has them
