hello again everyone

I have this problem that’s kinda of annoying, specially when I’m in the middle of trying to shift. So when I’m driving my car and wether I’m in 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th not so much my car wants to get up and go with my foot off the pedal. At the lower side of the Roma is raises by its self and the car starts to speed up. Once it gets to the higher side of the rpms it goes away and slows down as it should. I’m not sure what it is. Going to change the spark plugs, I do have a small leak at the tb which I’m going to replace the seals soon.(not sure if that would cause a surge let alone this bad) can maybe my injectors be dirty or clogged up(getting the cleaned anyways) I’m not sure what can cause this

I've heard of the throttle position sensor doing some crazy stuff when they go bad. Mine was out bad enough that it only showed 0% and 100%. Talk about fun times in a turbo car LOL
I’m thinking it might be that a cel just popped up this morning on the way to work so I’m going to check it out on my next break

Check your throttle cable adjustment. Make sure that the cable is not too tight or is sticking and keeping the throttle plate open.
Okay I’m going to double check all those on my break as well as the cel that popped up on my way to work this morning. Can it be the vac leak by the tb? I know I need new seals on that and my injectors

So cel came up with P0170(fuel trim)
Faulty fuel pressure/pump (I know I need a fuel pressure regulator)
Faulty Injectors(I know I need new seals)
Faulty Evap canister purge valve (I have an evap can delete)

Can it be the shittt eBay clutch that was put in it by the previous owner?

I noticed when I let off the clutch very slowly it doesn’t do it anymore and drive normal. I’m replacing with and ACT Clutch this weekend anyways as that was my weekend plans but was wondering maybe the clutch is causing it

My GST is an auto trans, not sure if a clutch would cause a fuel trim CEL, but maybe someone with a manual trans can clarify. From the looks of it with that CEL I'd say it's a save bet to start with the fuel regulator and injectors. The o-rings are silly cheap.

Yea I’m ordering everything Friday so should be here sometime next week and I’ll put them on next weekend. Not worried About the cel so much but mainly was asking if the clutch would cause my engine surge I have going on.

You can always clean the O2 sensor, but if it's malfunctioning it'll have a CEL. I'm pretty sure it wouldn't cause a surge though. I'd say focus on the fuel CEL that popped up and work on your known leaks, clear the codes then start it up & try again. If there's still a problem there's plenty of us here for more ideas.

I have the evap deleted too, but no codes come up for it. I'm not sure if the previous owner deleted it off the ecu to keep the light from coming on. It's hard telling with my car because the evap doesn't come up, but the catalytic converter does and it's been deleted too. My car is a basket case though LOL

I think he did because it wasn’t on before. So I’m going to attack the other things that popped up on the list of what it could be and see where that gets me

Use brake clean or propane. Check for vacuum leaks and watch fuel trims at idle and 2500rpm while checking different areas.
