Well I got her put back together to day after being down for a couple weeks due to a leaking output shaft seal which was caused by using the wrong bearing bracket. While I had her apart I redid the timing which revealed that the marks on the Fluidamper pulley was off. I went back with a 2gb cas. I also got the turbo and a few other parts powder coated.

OH! and went to shop and decided it was time to put ol txbluebeast back together again. 90 Galant GSX with 4G63 turbo conversion. not going crazy like before with 2.3 stroker doing crazy hp tho, just a nice relaible(ish) built 2.0 with all new everything and a modest 18G turbo. I miss her!:dsm:

Not a damn thing, she's been sleeping for the last couple months. I need to fix an exhaust leak between the aluminum exhaust and DP and fix a leak on the coolant overflow canister I made. May have to drive it soon since I totaled my daily :(

Installed the new DSM link firmware update from ECM Tuning on my car for fuel pump priming with the key on works pretty good and should make cold starts even easier.

Change Wires and Plugs on my GGS-X having a random misfire issue. VR4 im going to start to pull the Trans to put in a ACT2600, Comp Clutch Fork, and SS clutch line.

Did some more tuning(Well Kenny tuned LOL). Got cold start adjusted on the Q45. Feels good to just turn the key, hear the fuel pump prime and she starts right up, idles high for a bit till warms up, then lopes. Got her dropped off at the suspension shop to have it dialed in. That is all. Oh yeah broke fins off Saturn alt. It hit the sub-frame.

Two days worth of updates:

Saturday - met up with @techboy to pick up my new 4G63 7 bolt and pull an engine harness out of a Talon shell he's parting out. All said and done, he hooked me up with a great deal and I'll be pretty occupied for the next few weeks tearing this motor down and rebuilding it in preparation for my Spyder GS to GST conversion! Got home, mounted the long block on the engine stand and started soaking her down with degreaser.

Sunday - more degreaser (I've gone through nearly the entire spray bottle, gonna hit it with the pressure washer tomorrow and then begin the tear down :hellyeah:). Got my new tires mounted and balanced and started disassembly so I can get the rear camber kit installed. Scored a set of open box Eibach Pro Kit springs on eBay for $180. USPS delivered the leather repair kit I ordered so I could fix up the small holes in the leather drivers seat I picked up from Performance Part Out (awesome guys by the way..).

All in all, busy weekend.:D

Got rid of those god awful 2g prothane front and rear inserts. Replaced them with solid 1g prothanes. And since it was so nice out I painted my calipers.

Just got my spacer today to eliminate my A/C bracket. That's one of the cheapest $/lb weight savings the car has had in a long time. It took a bit longer to swap than I intended as oddly enough the bracket spaces both sides of the axle, but without the bracket, only one side of the axle needed a spacer.

The ricer in me made me cut the stock 2g auto shifter down 2.5" so I could watch my movies while I sit and wait in the car.
