Good stuff man. My factory front leather seats were close to 100lbs and the auto seat belts were 50. Super jealous of the carbon parts!

There is almost no weight to be saved by chopping the front end off after the motor mounts, but it definitely makes things easier.

Yeah I am more looking to make it easier to work with. I'm making it bolt on so I can pull it all off easily.
And I'm too cheap for carbon fiber so I just did fiberglass parts. Going to get painted anyways.
Can't wait for some parts to show up. Got the water pump and fittings in today.

I'll be interested to see how you do the front end, I'm wanting to do the same to get some extra room and make it easier to work on, I could care less about the weight for my purpose.

I lost around 40 lbs doing my seatbelt delete, amazing how much that crap weighs! What's that meziere pump rated at?

Excited to see the results!

Roughly cut the front end off. Just have to get the engine out of the way to make the final cuts.
Even with the chromoly Crossmemeber with the solid mount, and no crash beam it weighed 51 lbs bare. !! So there's a good amount of weight to be saved here and it is way easier to work on.

First mockup on the kirkey, this is actually the passenger seat bracket, still waiting on the shipping for the drivers. Harnesses are great! Very happy with them.

20GPM. I was really surprised when I removed al the auto belts. Just that lab belt alone weighed a ton.

Might as well keep the BIG changes rolling. Switching to PROEFI engine management. Going to be running their flex fuel sensor and boost controller to give me a lot more flexibility with fuel and make the tune more rock solid. So I ordered the Pro48 vs the pro128 to save some money and I am not needing any traction control or the other features .

Pulled the engine and trans today and I'll get it all disassembled and to the New machine shop tomorrow. Then we can start the front end and seat mounting.

Other things I got, planted seat brackets (60.00 for the PAIR!!)
Kiggly 12 tooth crank trigger for the proefi.
Zietronics flex fuel converter.
Proefi 1g harness
Pro48
Proefi wideband
Proefi nitrous sensor
Proefi flex fuel kit
Proefi fuel pressure sensor
Proefi oil pressure sensor
Proefi 5 bar map sensor
Proefi IAT

i pulled most of the interior and am probably going to pull the dash while it's down. But I feel like I have a lot on my plate already. Really, really need to cage this car .

As much as it hurts, i just dont have time or patience for this anymore. Parting it out, getting a list together. Be on the lookout for it in classifieds.

Sold the whole thing plus all my dsm parts to a cool guy from Tennessee . Going to be back at a track near you soon. 1sic1gb signing off!
