no receiver groove for me. My head guy is in the 1200hp range and he's got no issues without the receiver groove, so I think I'll be fine. When you o ring the head do you do the block to receive it or not on this one? I know some do and some dont,
Also how are them pro gears? Im looking at them myself,
OEM MLSWhat HG are you going to run with the oringed head?
Me too! I can't wait to finally finish it!This build gives me a funny feeling in my trousers..
I know a couple of local guys that used their IC's and made over 1K hp on this same core... I caught the BLack Friday sale and Paid them a little extra to modify it to the mock-up you see above. Basically gives me a a bad ass Intercooler for 1/2 the price of the ones people normally run. It should be here on Tuesday. I'll post pictures of the finished product when I get it.Treadstone makes some good stuff. Been a while since Iv seen that name used.
Treadstone are good, I bought there TR8 intercooler! cast end tanks and great cores are hard to pass up on the prices they offer too!Treadstone makes some good stuff. Been a while since Iv seen that name used.

OEM MLS
My oem hg, got bent in the garage, I ended up putting it back together with a Cometic I had on hand.ive been looking into oring option for the aluminum rod engine im putting together. I kinda like the idea of not having the receiver groove cut but in doing that is the oem mls the only option for gaskets?
