Hey guys. I sandblasted a lot of the engine bay (with only a small harbor freight gravity blaster and black beauty glass bead)
It was working okay, just annoying how often you have to refill.
After I got that done I started on the seam sealer. I wanted to rid all the sealer and weld up/skim coat the seams along with all the imperfections.
Started by cutting it all out with a utility knife and an edged razor blade. What should I go to next? Should i use a wire wheel to get out the deeper stuff? I was thinking about using a map torch to try and burn out anything remaining after that..
I thought in the beginning I could just leave a bit of sealer in there and skim coat some filler on top of it.. But I'm pretty sure that would lead to cracking and ruin all this hard work...
Any input, good or bad.. I would appreciate. Thanks guys..
