Hey guys. I sandblasted a lot of the engine bay (with only a small harbor freight gravity blaster and black beauty glass bead)

It was working okay, just annoying how often you have to refill.

After I got that done I started on the seam sealer. I wanted to rid all the sealer and weld up/skim coat the seams along with all the imperfections.

Started by cutting it all out with a utility knife and an edged razor blade. What should I go to next? Should i use a wire wheel to get out the deeper stuff? I was thinking about using a map torch to try and burn out anything remaining after that..

I thought in the beginning I could just leave a bit of sealer in there and skim coat some filler on top of it.. But I'm pretty sure that would lead to cracking and ruin all this hard work...

Any input, good or bad.. I would appreciate. Thanks guys..

I took 90% of mine out with a grinder and various wire wheels but getting behind the shock towers is impossible like that. I had a propane torch laying around that I tried and it honestly just took too long so I stopped. That's the only area I have yet to find a good way to remove. Maybe try liquid nitrogen?

I was just going to slide a blade (single razor blade) down there as best I could and burn out whatever's left... I will let you know how it works out. Def looks like a pain.

I bonded the lines bewteen the motor mount points since thats what you will mostly see.

I recommend you pull out the booster and hard lines..

Looking good.

I was going to, probably going to swap over to a 3g booster/mc (not totally sure yet) depends if I have money for a cts brembo swap when the time comes..

When you say "bonded" do you mean welded n skimmed or redid different seam sealer or what
