So messed up again...:banghead:
I had changed out the coil packs from my 2g didn't really pay attention to the order I had placed the spark plug wires in. I started the car took it for a drive and smelled the gas and noticed the power of the car going away. I was able to get the car back home but couldn't get to change the wire order. The next day when I place them in the correct order the car wouldn't start. it would crank like it wants to start but it just won't start. What could it be? I've checked all of the fuses but don't know where to go from there. Could I have fried the ECU?

I've checked for fuel and spark and both seem right. how do i do a compression test? I've seen a could of videos on youtube but i'm not entirely sure how to do it

although most including myself dont like spoonfeeding but here ya go

remove the fuel pump relay or fuse after this start and run engine till it dies (if u can)
next disconnect coil packs
pull all 4 spark plugs
screw compression tested into cylinder and crank engine over 4-6 times while holding the gas pedal to the floor
get out and read and record number
unscrew and move to the next cylinder til you have done all 4
when done report back

All you did was a simple repair....its unlikely anything else went wrong. Start with what you repaired. All wires plugged in solid on spark plugs, coil, transistor etc. Double check firing order

I would replace the spark plugs even if they do "appear" to be working it's a cheap replacement and could save you a lot of time had a similar issue to this minus the switching of order but had brand new spark plugs go bad from them getting fouled from excessive fuel. Worth a shot at least.
