Hello brother , we are out in spring. We did fine. We had no flooding. Did you do ok?

After Harvey passed, I spoke with my to my father, who called me his favorite son, on Tuesday. Thatg was the last time I spoke to him. He passed Friday morning at 3:00 a.m. from cancer in his sleep.

oh how I love progress. I got the alternator wired up. I will work on the guages tomorrow. I have to extend the wires. Then I will get back to the main harness which is almost complete.

Got more accomplished today. Also yesterday I got all of the Guage sensors wired. Heated the oil with heat gun and everything is operational. Checked water temp sensor as well. Tomorrow I will wire in the power cut off switch and get back started on looming the harness.

Redid the battery connections, also I put the cut off switch in the center console.

Keep it up. I have to say that I don't like where you have your flex sensor mounted. That just seems like a bad place. I do like the braces . :p
Yeah, but I had no other place to put it. However im going to build a box around it so in a collision it will be protected. Yes they are pretty snazzy.

Still at it. She should be ready for startup by Friday. I will tell you this. It is best to do things on your own. I pulled my harness and discovered that many things were wired incorrectly. It was harder to correct it than to just have started it on my own to begin with. I purchased another harness and was able to use it as a map. Along with the diagram, it came together. I was also over complicating the MSD install. I removed it and wired the harness back stock. The MSD is also as it would be out of the box. It will go together quite smoothly i hope LOL. I've also learned the difference between a ground switch and a true ground. A 12v and a 5v switch. LOL. Also I would like to put out there that I understand why these cars got such a bad wrap for it's electrical configuration. Everything is link together. If one thing goes out, like a sensor, it will kill everything else. So I'll keep at it.

Soooo I have good news. I HAVE SPARK!!!!!!!!!. I traced my problem to a switched coil signal wire with the 12v wire. Once I swapped those, I piddled around for two hours wondering why I still had no power to that dang plug. I took my msd harness, the very one took great care to build, apart. To no good. So I plugged everything back in and decided to tackle it again tomorrow. I decided to try the key one more time. I had a spark test light hooked up. There was no need for that. When I turned the key, long arcs shot all over my valve cover out of the coil boots. So we are almost ready for first start up. I have to pull the harness shorten some wires and loom it up. I can't believe after all this time, I'm here.
