i would recommend the normal gauges required prior to any more modifications. are you going to run dsmlink? are you planning on upgrading your turbo? most tuners like the innonative wideband, or the AEM UEGO. when it comes to a boost gauge, a glowshift will be ok to run, but of course if you are relying on the cheapest item you can pay for. as for oil pressure, i would personally run the best i can afford, due to the fact that it is a reliabilty issue when it comes to your motor... are you planning on running an external oil cooler? have you considered using an oil filter housing that has a port for an oil pressure gauge already?

i personally am running AEM UEGO, an AEM boost gauge that maxes out at 35psi, and an AEM oil pressure gauge, which the pressure is maxed at 150psi i believe. i am going to run a B&M external oil cooler with an EVO 9 oil filter housing. the evo9 OFH has ports for the oil cooler, as well as the oil pressure gauge. it is also downward facing, so the oil filter will be out of the way and gives me more room in the engine bay. i can get some pics later today if i can remember LOL.

Don't go with glowshift for any gauges. I say this from experience as well. Their gauges are poor quality, inaccurate, and they don't last long either. Plus don't waste the money on a narrowband when a wide band is the way to go. No point in spending money twice. My last car I had Prosport Evo gauges. I loved them. Why do you need an oil pressure sandwich plate anyway? Do you have a turbo or non-turbo model? If you got a turbo model (not a non-turbo with a turbo) then you really don't need the part in the first place.

i have a 95 talon tsi awd. and thanks for the feedback, ill end up going with the aem gauges then. ill aslo save up a bit more so that i can get the wideband air fuel. i plan to dd this one so im gonna keep it pretty mild, so no turbo upgrades. maaybe a t28, in the distant future. i just want a little more get up and go for my dd so i was gonna up the boost a few pounds and call it a day. hence the reason i need the gauges to monitor everything with the extra boost

If you want a narrow band O2 GlowSuck gauge, I can send you mine. It's useless. Also, get quality gauges, preferably with a white back plate so you can see them during the day. I have the 5 GS gauges (4 installed) and you can't read them during the day due to glare. I'll be replacing them at some point.
