I'm looking forward to ditching the ACT single for a twin setup..
Be careful what you wish for. You'll want one in every car you drive!

Maybe the QM was fine, but your clutch modulation skills weren't up to par? I don't claim to be a pro driver, but I think I've got a pretty good handle on how to launch my car. I've got piles of slips on this setup, and have only ever broken 2 drivetrain components. One was a 3 bolt axle, and the other was the DSS slip yoke. Neither were due to clutch modulation, or lack there of.Not to be a dick, but I don't think you have the best clutch modulation skills, the qm will make this much much worse.
I know from experience. I never broke anything until I put a qm in my car.
I don't think it's hurting my ET, I know it is. How much it's hurting is yet to be determined, but it's certainly more than a 10th of a second on my car. Yours may be different. My other pro tip, the long shift durations are not hurting you as bad as you think they are. Less than a thenth et difference from a quick nlts on the qm to a full lift to shift on a bigger slower to recover turbo.
I don't think there's anything magic about how a twin disc shifts. You put it in and it shifts great at high RPM. I can't say the same for the ACT currently installed. And, as I said before, I'm not interested in modifying the clutch system just to get it to work on par with the twin. I don't see a part out anywhere in my future, so I'll take my chances with the twin. Not
It's your car do what you want, I just don't like to see people spend a ton on some part they don't need, thinking it's going to be magic. And then it sucks, I think it's a big part of why these cars end up parted and in such dis-repair.
