Maintenance, maintenance, maintenance. DSM's have a bad rep for "always being broken" from what I can tell so try to avoid the stereotype haha. Then follow that upgrade path RAW92Talon posted. Only thing I'd do different in that list is get gauges set up so you have that info the whole process.

Good call on the gauges sinned4g63. The PO of my Talon put a boost gauge and oil pressure on the A pillar neither one work....Really. it drives me crazy considering the stock gauges don't work great either. unfortunately I have to finish my house remodel and sell my other house before I can really dig into the car. Two house payments don't leave much room for car parts.:ohdamn:

Here some information I know about it 1997 Mitsubishi Eclipse Sypder Gst 119000 miles, lowered, 17 inch rims with brand new tires. 2.0l 4g63 turbo but I don't know if it the stock turbo on it but it looks like it , 5 speed, pillar gauges with boost, voltage, and oil pressure. Runs 15lbs of boost. New timing belt, new serpentine and power steering belts. Full front mount intercooler, aftermarket strut tower bar. Full exhaust just got to get the after header for it No warning lights on the dash. Zero rust, There might be more that I'm forgetting

Also noticed an intake on your pics as well. Double check that upgrade path and see if you're missing anything. See if you have anything for fuel regulation (AFPR, fuel pump, injectors) or engine management. Also a wideband gauge.

First thing I love to do is check for boost and vacumn leaks. That can improve driving 50 percent sometimes LOL.

Then try and find out when the timing was done. Pull the spark plugs and check them out. You can usually tell how an engine has been running just by looking at the plugs. Check the trans fluid.

Then swap in a 6 bolt :hellyeah: :p
