Pulled the downpipe to replace the flex pipe and boom, nest all up in my turbo. Only way there is through the exhaust... So I looked through the rest of the exahsut and yep sure enough cat is hollowed out.

Pulled the O2 to make sure I got it all out which was a successful endeavor.

Got any cool nest stories? If I didn't pull the dp to replace the flex pipe then man I would have had a hell of a time diagnosing the no start. Never had a nest before...

LOL Been there... Had my car down one winter, hadn't moved for about a month. One night I'm out there working on some interior wiring sitting in the driver's seat. I start to hear some scratching coming from behind the trim around the rear speakers and then something scurrying above my head between the headliner and the roof. Turned out to be a family of mice. They had made themselves quite a nest under the back seat that consisted mostly of the seat padding, carpet backing and copious amounts of mouse poo.

Man that would suck!

Mine has been down for 4 years. I don't know how I don't have more animal problems. I'm really lucky.

I didn't know they could get up in the headliner, damn.

What would happen if you left the downpipe off and started the engine.. LOL. Its probably not packed in enough to choke but I wonder.

My 98 has been sitting outside for about 3 months. I went out to start it the other day, and decided to make sure the AC worked. When I turned the blower to high, I heard a loud thumping from the air box. Turns out I had left the recirc door open, and my blower motor was now home to some very dizzy mice.

Well damn. I had something similar happen to a buddy and mines 350z. Parked it in a barn for a few months. Brought it to my house so we can diagnose some wiring issues and as he looked down behind the engine bay, a mouse was looking straight at him. It was hilarious. There must have been over 5 mice in the bay. They chewed up quite a bit of the wiring

Lmao some very dizzy mice. I never checked to see if my recirc door is open or closed. Hopefully I dont have that issue. Everything smells fine inside though. Damn that would make me scream like a little girl if I was driving and a mouse came out to make it's presence known.

IDK Curt, if my car was far along enough to start I would definitely try it out. But I ended up taking off the 02 housing to unpack it. It wasn't too bad actually.

Lol looking right at him huh? Reminds me of my bearded dragon and how he stares at me all the time.
